Chairman - Tunde Akerele
Tunde is an experienced banker and finance professional who over the course of his career has worked with several blue-chip financial institutions, including Citibank and Standard Bank, in different geographies. During the course of his banking career Tunde gained extensive experience in investment banking, corporate banking, asset-based finance and risk management. Tunde graduated from the London School of Economics with an LLB (Hons.) and has an MBA from Columbia Business School. Tunde currently works in the infrastructure space with a primary focus on developing Independent Power Projects (‘IPPs’) across Africa. Tunde is a founder of Tatanga Energy, a Southern African focused developer of renewable and conventional energy projects.
Chief Executive Officer - Never Ncube
Never has more than 29 years’ experience in corporate strategy and governance, financial accounting and reporting, secretarial duties as well as treasury and internal audit. Over the span of his career, he has held senior positions at Delta, Innscor and Spar Zambia Limited.
He is a Chartered Governance Professional and a Public Accountant registered with the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB) and possesses a Bachelor of Accountancy Honours Degree from the University of Zimbabwe as well as a Master of Business Administration from Midlands State University. He completed a Management Development Programme with Delta Mandel Training Centre and an Executive Development Programme with Cape Town Business School.
In 2019 he received the Chartered Secretary of the Year Award from the former Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Zimbabwe (ICSAZ). The following year he was named the Strategic Leader of the Year 2020 – Platinum Winner at the Megafest National Business Awards and received the Businessman of the Year 2020 – ICT and Internet Services Award from the Zimbabwe Business Council. In the same year, he was further awarded the Outstanding CEO of the Year and Record Breakers Award for Contribution in Zimbabwe’s Business Space Awards by the Zimbabwe CEO Network, as well as the HR Focused CEO of the Year Award from the Institute of Human Resource Management.
Never is a fellow of the Chartered Governance and Accountancy Institute in Zimbabwe (CGI Zimbabwe) and the Institute of Directors Zimbabwe (IODZ). He is a past Council Member and Treasurer of IODZ, and previously served as the President of the Contact Centre Association of Zimbabwe (CCAZ). In 2023, he was appointed Technology Sector Leader on the Global Opportunities Committee by CEO Africa Roundtable. He currently serves as a Council Member of CGI Zimbabwe (2024/25), and a Non-Executive Director of Minerva Benefits Consulting. In 2025, he was elected to the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce In Zimbabwe and inducted into the Zimbabwe Business Hall of Fame.
Chief Financial Officer - Stanford Chabaya
Stanford Chabaya is a Certified Chartered Accountant with over eleven years of professional experience in accounting, audit, and finance. He joined Dandemutande in 2012 . Prior to his current position as CFO, Stanford held roles in financial accounting, reporting, and management. He posssess a Bachelor of Accounting Science Honours degree from the University of South Africa, is a Mandela Washington Fellow and 2016 graduate from Purdue University, USA in business and entrepreneurship.
Chief Operating Officer - Ignatius Mpando
Ignatius T. Mpando joined the organisation in June 2015 as a Core Network Engineer. He later transitioned to Business & Product Development before becoming the General Manager for Utande Internet Services. Ignatius has been involved in corporate strategic decision-making, corporate governance, business development, product roadmap management, project management, billing, revenue assurance, and network engineering. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a graduate of the University of Zimbabwe, holding a Bachelor of Business Studies and Computing Science (BBSCT) degree as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Ignatius received the 2022 Top 20 Young CEOs in Zimbabwe award by the CEO Africa Roundtable. He completed an Executive Development Programme (EDP) with the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town. He is a member of the Institute of Directors of Zimbabwe (IoDZ) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Chief Commercial Officer - Lorraine Rutendo Nyahwa
Lorraine Rutendo Chakuchichi-Nyahwa is a seasoned sales and marketing professional with over 18 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. She has built strong business relationships across Southern Africa and the UAE, serving clients in sectors such as finance, retail, government, and mining. Lorraine has led high-performing teams and crafted impactful sales strategies, earning recognition for her leadership and innovation. Her accolades include the Top 200 Retail Wholesale Value Chain Business Leaders Award (2021), Outstanding Strategic (2023), Business Transformation Leader (2024), and Outstanding Woman in Corporate Leadership (2025). She holds a Bachelor’s in Marketing from Zimbabwe Open University and a Master’s in Business Leadership from the University of Zimbabwe. Lorraine is a Certified Digital Marketer and Public Speaker. She is also a member of the CEO Africa Round Table and the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe.
Chief Human Resources Executive - Takunda Tsatsa
Takunda is a Human Capital Practitioner with more than 15 years’ experience specialising in organisational development, culture alignment, performance management, employee relations and strategic management. He joined Dandemutande in 2017. Before joining Dandemutande, Takunda worked in various industries including civil service, manufacturing and financial sectors. He is a holder of a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of Zimbabwe, Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of South Africa, a Master of Business Administration from National University of Science and Technology and a Diploma in Human Resources Management from the Institute of People Management of Zimbabwe. Takunda is also a Certified Talent Practitioner with the International Talent Management Academy(ITMA) and a Certified Data Protection Officer with the Harare Institute of Technology.
Chief Technical Officer Douglas Chitongo
Cassandra has more than 20 years of business experience, encompassing sales, customer experience, and marketing. She has held various roles at Dandemutande, including Business Solutions Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Regional and Marketing Manager, and Head of Marketing, before assuming her current position as Head of Satellite Services and Customer Experience. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Masters in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa, as well as a Diploma in Marketing Management from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Cassandra is an active member of the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe. In 2021, she received the Outstanding Pedagogical Marketing Executive award from the Zimbabwe CEO’s Network, and in 2022, she was recognised as the Best ICT Leading Woman/Girl Child Motivator at the GRI ICT Conference & Awards.
Head of VSAT & Customer Experience Cassandra Maseko
Having started her career in retail management and buying at Edgars, Cassandra has more than 18 years business experience in the field also encompassing sales, customer experience and marketing. She joined the telecommunications industry as an Account Manager for MWEB and rose through the ranks, taking on various positions in the organisation including Business Solutions Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Regional and Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing before assuming her current position as Head of Satellite Services and Customer Experience. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a Master’s in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa, a Diploma in Marketing Management from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is an active member of the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe. Company Secretary & Legal Advisor Stella Shamiso Wutete
Stella Shamiso Wutete is a Registered Legal Practitioner with over 15 years of diverse experience across private practice and the corporate sector. Her legal expertise extends beyond high-value mergers & acquisitions, legal advisory in foreign investment, and commercial transactions, having worked for a Building Society and a foreign investment company. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from the University of South Africa and is the current Zimbabwe Representative on the Commonwealth Lawyers Association’s Legal Technology Committee, as well as the Corporate & Commercial Law Committee. Stella joined Dandemutande in 2023. In recognition of her exceptional contributions to the legal and corporate governance space, Stella has been honored with MegaFest Women’s Awards (2024): Outstanding Legal & Corporate Secretary of the Year – Diamond Winner
